2016 Swap Meet
QSY HOME

Bob, KC7QR, was the "guy in charge" of SM-16 again.  Without his planning and expertise this event would never get off the ground.  Thanks Bob!

From left:  Terry Fletcher K7THF, head of the Magic Valley ARES/RACES, selling some donated items to the club.
Center:  Dunk Layton, KD7JKB (on emergency power - "that's an inside joke") lends a hand.
Right:  Jim Kennedy W7OUU, wondering how he got wound up with these two characters!

If weather is bad or attendance is low or a meteorite is headed for us, one thing that is ALWAYS constant at the KOA where the swap meet is held is the food and hospitality.  The food and friendliness are unsurpassed.

Would somebody wake Mike up!   Mike Dahmer K7MDI was in charge of the swap meet communications station.  Actually, he did a great job and he was just taking a break from the arduous task!

Every year at the swap meet we have a testing session.  Left, Dean Etherington KI7CC and Kelly Klaas K7SU check the tests that were handed in.

Stephen Hagerty K7WKR, the ever faithful guy who helps out with everything, including the testing session.  Thanks Steve!  By the way Steve, those aren't gumballs.  Those are rubber balls for the Foozball table!

MVARC Vice President Jeremy Brown KA7BIF proudly displays the club banner while eating his breakfast.

Thanks to all who participated in the Swap Meet 2016...the helpers, the vendors, the buyers and especially to Oscar (K7KOA) and Kim (KD6GLL) Carranza, owners of the Jerome KOA Campground where the event is held,  for their outstanding involvement and support of MVARC!
