- "HAM OF THE YEAR" Award -
Do you know a ham that's making or has made a significant contribution to our hobby, our club, or to their community through amateur radio? If so, we encourage you to submit a nomination on their behalf.
This award is not a contest for a prize. Any prizes given are secondary in nature. A person selected "Ham of the Year" is judged on their contributions to our club or our community through Amateur Radio. For example, a ham whose only claim to fame is that of being licensed as an Extra at the age four would not necessarily be judged as having made a significant contribution to the Amateur Radio Service. On the other hand, a ham who acted as the control station of a net during a major disaster or crisis would definitely be given consideration. CLICK HERE to see past recipients of the HOTY award.
